Legislative update:

• The Service Dog bill – HB 165 was signed into law by Governor Corbett this week!
• the Humane PA Scorecard is now updated

Campaigns and Election update:

• Congratulations to Sarah Speed, who has been selected as a Delegate to the Democratic National Convention to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, September 4-6th. Sarah is a candidate running for the PA State House of Representatives, 47th District in York.
• the Humane PA Candidate Survey is now available for any candidate who seeks our endorsement for the fall election, please forward the link and have your candidate take the survey to be considered for endorsement

News and Events:

• Ellen Tarasca, one of our Philly area Coordinators will be at With Love-Super Adoption Day 2012 tomorrow, Saturday June 16th from 12-4pm
• Save the Date! Please join us for a Party for Pawlitics! July 19th – Pittsburgh, special guest Sarah Speed, candidate for the 47th PA House District.
