I am a resident of New Jersey and feel so proud of the people who all over the nation protect and defend those creatures with no voice. Thank you for what you do and I will do anything I can to support all those who are the voice of those who have none. And I am the proud doggie parent of a little seven year old Carin Terrier mix from Bluefield, West Virginia. She has asthma and no one wanted to be bothered taking care of this wonderful little girl. I have asthma too so she came to the right family. Bless the people who help save these very special and loving creatures!!!!! Thank you for everything you do.

My family will be participating in the Canine Cancer Research Walk on Sunday September 25th.

I couldn’t find an email address for you so I’m writing on the comment wall. I am president of a c4 in KY, called Kentuckians Vote for Animals. We are writing our candidate survey, and I would love to get a copy of your surveys, both for candidates and for volunteers. Would that be possible? You can write me at marianne@kyanimals.org. Thanks!

I have/had four cats they are indoor and outdoor cats. They never go far and typically don’t leave the property. About three days ago my baby went up missing, he is very dependent on food, he does hunt though so he would not go hungry. Our neighbors were shooting guns in their property around 5 pm. We have history with the neighbors and they just ran over my sisters dog two months ago. Just last week our neighbor was in the news paper for gun violations and it stated they he is not permitted to have guns. When our cat went missing we were trying to hope for the best and we went out searching this morning and found him dead. He was shot through the side and the bullet was lodged in his spine. He was stiff as we believe he was shot that wed. and today being friday.. He was found on our property not even 30 ft away from our bedroom window. We contacted the police and they sent two cruisers and i gave my statement they told me there is nothing they can really do because we did not witness the cat getting shot. The police were very nice and sympathized with me but no real justice was served they payed a visit to see if he will give a statement but i’m very worried about my three other cats and my dog being outside and that close to him. I though it was illegal to be firing guns that close to a residential area let alone right outside my bedroom window. I really just need to know what i should do? Please contact me at jessica_lacava@yahoo.com

I am looking for resources or contacts to ensure a legal and humane decision regarding a potential business opportunity I am looking into. I have a business partner out of state who is interested in selling hermit crabs in pa. Can your organization direct me towards information to help make an informed decision about the legal aspects of selling hermit crabs in pa? I am a pa resident. Thank you.

Thank you for fighting on behalf of pigeons who are being shot barbarically for sport. I heard about this for the first time today on 6 ABC news and was sickened to learn that this is going on. I did write my Representative and hope they will vote to stop this barbaric activity that has no place in civilized society. Kind Regards, Debbie Wright

    Hello –

I am very concerned that the large animal control companies in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (particularly Ferree Kennels and Hoffman Kennels) say it “is not their job” to scan incoming pets for microchips. I wonder how many pets are euthanized because the animal control agencies do not scan for chips. We need to make it their job to scan for microchips! They also refuse to put photographs up of the animals that come in to their facilities – even after people have volunteered their own time to take pictures and put them online for free. This is so ridiculous! Something needs to be done! What can we do?

I am in desperate need of someone to contact to report an abuse situation. Please do not tell me the local humane officer, etc as this has all been tried and still nothing is being done. There is an extreme hoarding situation with injured animals left untreated, improper fencing so dogs have been killed by cars, and on and on. This person has been witnessed using a piece of machinery (parked in the yard) to dig large mass graves as these animals die. There have been reports filed and nothing is being done. We believe this person has some political ties or influence and is being given special treatment at the expense of suffering animals. Now the PA weather has gone extreme and these animals are left to fend for themselves in horrendous conditions. Please email any information you can provide. Thank you for your help.

I am wondering what if anything can be done about a neighbor shooting squirrels ( LOTS OF THEM) almost daily and several times a day, with a GUN. He has many bird feeders attracting them and than he shoots them for coming on his land. CRAZYNESS! I am worried for my grandchildren. playing in my yard and my OWN 3 cats. What is the law on shooting guns in a residential area? PLEASE HELP, this is cruel to the squirrels. SO SAD to see people do this to them!

    Greetings,

My name is Ron and I run a top notch web design firm that is committed to helping small to medium-sized businesses fix or re-design their website so that they can increase the conversion rate and close more sales.

I came across your site, and I thought I just had to write this email to you, because I have some great ideas on how to improve your site so that it can convert better.

I hereby would like to offer you a f-r-e-e consultation/analysis of your site and show you what I can do to help you:

    1. Update your site, so that it has a more modern look and feel about it.

    2. Find ways to convert more visitors via our cutting-edge user testing method.

    3. See what your competitors are doing, and find ways to make you stand out from your competitors.

I am sure you would agree that this is a GREAT deal, because I will be performing this analysis free of charge, with no obligations and no strings attached.

So if you are interested to know how I can make some secret tweaks to your site to improve your conversion rate, simply reply to this email to let me know what time works best for you to have this consultation, and I will get in touch with you.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Warmest regards,

    Ron Hawkings

P.S. Like I mentioned, this is a totally non-obligatory offer. If you liked what you hear from me, then let’s get down to work to improve your site. If not, you can still use the information that I will provide you during the consultation to help your site do better with no strings attached. It’s definitely a win-win for you.

Simply reply to this email and let me know what time works best for you to have this consultation, and I’ll get in touch with you at the earliest. Also if you are interested and do not wish to be contacted by me again just let me know by replying with the word remove in the subject line.

    Hi,

I’m Garett Eddins and I am part of a professional, California-based web design firm that is approaching it’s 10th year in the industry. Our goal is to provide fully managed web services that actually make business easier for you.

Let me ask you a few key questions:

    • When you think about your current website, are you happy and satisfied?
    • Does your website showcase you as a modern business that can be trusted to achieve all your clients’ needs?
    • Does your website actively work towards reaching your business goals?

For many small- and medium-sized businesses, the answer to all of the above questions is “No”. Why? Because managing and maintaining a website is not why you went into business in the first place. We take pride in establishing ongoing, mutually beneficial business relationships at a fair, fixed price.

I would love to take this burden off your plate, do you have a few minutes during the next couple of days so that we can chat? I can review and provide some suggestions to you, and determine whether we would be a good fit for your ongoing needs.

Should this be something that you’re not prepared to discuss at this time, please let me know when would be a more appropriate time – whether it’s in a few weeks or 6 months down the line. Or, if you’re not interested in pursuing this matter , please type REMOVE on the subject line and we will not contact you further.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

    Garett Eddins

Can you help us to stop this?

I am contacting you in hopes of getting help for animals. On Sunday, 8-27-17, my dog had a seizure at 10:30p.m. I called an emergency Vet, and they refused to help me, because my Vet is not in the local network. They said take him to your vets on call place, I said it is in State College, how can I drive him that far when he is having a seizure? How can you let him suffer? They would not help. Thankfully, I held him and the seizure stopped. We ended up having to wait until the 8:00a.m. the next day and took him to his Vet and she put him down. This Vet loved my dog, and my dog loved her. She cried when she put him down. You think I should change Vets just because of a “Vet Network”? Please help me stop any Vet from refusing treatment for a suffering animal. My dog’s name was Nikko. Please contact me on getting something done about this. We need a bill to stop this from happening! No one should be allowed to let a pet suffer!

I recently contacted our police department regarding a neighbors dog being left outside for long periods of time in all weather. This particular day was 27’. I had only gotten home from work. After 1 hr with dog continually barking I called. At first the officer told me he didn’t even know of a law that specifically tells a temperature. He said he would go talk to the people but there was nothing he could do
The officer called me back and told me he looked up the law. He said a dog must be tethered This dog was tethered but the officer didn’t even go look at the dog or his conditions. Can you please tell me why does the law only specify tethered dogs.

    Thank you for your reply

I was wondering what the law is regarding bird sells at pet stores in PA? I was under the impression that all pet stores must buy from certified breeders who apply bands to their exotic birds. I am a budgie parakeet lover and recently found a store selling an absurd amount, with no bands! If possible, please let me know the law governing pet stores and their responsibility for avian welfare.

    Thank you for your time

Hi! I sent a FB message and did not receive a reply.

I have Senator Aument’s concerns re: SB is1154 and need assistance addressing them. Would someone be able to help me from your organization? I have sent an email to Kristen Tullo for HSUS as well and have not gotten a response yet.

    Thank you!

  29. The reason for this contact is that we need some guidance in getting justice for the Shilohs who were found on February 20, 2018 in Vandergrift. PA living in deplorable conditions and removed from the home. As yet, the DA has spent more effort in targeting the Humane Officer who saved the dogs, than in investigating and filing charges on the woman, Dawn Swick, who had the dogs. You can check out our Facebook page, Shiloh20 Justice, for photos of the dogs the night they were discovered and the campaign to get justice for them. Any resources and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My father is interested in purchasing a cavachon from Steve and Naomi Fisher in Gordonville, PA.
I was hoping you could tell me more about their reputation and whether they are part of a puppy mill operation. Since it is a mixed breed, it is difficult to find background information on them. Can you please let me know if they are a legitimatel breeder!

This new law enacted makes it a felony to kill even stray or diseased animals in a state that is predominantly rural. In most areas such as my own there are absolutely no Animal Control services provided.

This is yet another indication that our politicians are so far removed from the average resident in this state that they should not even be considered as representative of the general populous.

    Absolutely disappointing.

    Sincerely,
    A PA Resident

Hi I sent an email yesterday and want to ensure receipt.

I would love your endorsement! I am running for District Attorney in Butler County against a 16 year incumbent District Attorney who has a record of making Sweetheart Deals that impact the safety of animals.

He has only taken 5 cases out of 1,941 to jury trial, per the recent caseload statistics report.

In the past, one of his ADA’s agreed to dismiss a felony charge for animal cruelty. Please see the attached article. This was not a surprise as the criminal’s attorney was (and is) a close friend and contributer to the DA’s campaign. Only after the public protested, was the charge re-instated.

This was not an isolated case against animal abuse. He also withdrew animal cruelty charges against horses. See second attached article.

His Sweetheart Deals are not limited to criminals harming animals. Please listen to this story from Jim, a Veteran, whose son was killed by a drunk driver but the drunk driver was given only a weekend in jail. (Note the defense attorney was also a friend and contributor to current DA’s campaign).

Click Jen’s Ad To Hear Jim’s Story
    jen gv-sidebar

In closing, I would be honored to have your support. My opponent has been unopposed for too long and it is time for change. I promise I will protect animals and hold those who abuse animals accountable to the fullest extent. I will STOP Sweetheart Deals and promote fair justice for all.

    Sincerely,
